Labor Day Picnic:  Chefs

Description:

We need 8 prep chefs to prepare the potato salad, hamburger meat, ice cream, and iced tea for the next day.   We will need them in 2 shifts, from 3 to 6 pm and from 6 to 9 pm on Sunday September 3rd, the day before the picnic.  There will be a meal provided for both (you get to try the food).

We will also need 4 grill masters for the day of the picnic to take shifts cooking the hamburgers and hotdogs.

 

Team 1:  From 3 pm to 6 pm,, Sunday September 3rd, 2017 - 4 prep chefs

Make 4 1/2 gallons of homemade ice cream for freezing for the next day  (we will make the other 4 1/2 gallons at the picnic). 

Peel the potatoes, cut, and boil

hard cook eggs and peel

Season the meat, and mix the finishing rub for the burgers.

 

Team 2:  From 6 pm to 9 pm,, Sunday September 3rd, 2017- 4 prep chefs

Make the hamburger patties and refrigerate

Cut veggies for potato salad.

Make iced tea concentrate for the tea the next day.

 

Team 3:  From 10:45 am to noon, Monday September 4rd, 2017- 2 grill masters

Prepare grill for cooking, take turns cooking the hamburgers and hotdogs for our guests.

 

Team 4:  From noon am to 2 pm, Monday September 4rd, 2017- 2 grill masters

take turns cooking the hamburgers and hotdogs for our guests.  Clean grill.
